FCAN

FCAN is a MIND_SPACE_TRIGGER playing the new electronic genre: 1991_INTELLIGENT_TEKKNO_MUSIC. FCAN works like a drug that triggers spaces of your conscience that are unexplored: FCAN_SPACE. FCAN sort of activates the music in you that is already there: the 1991_INTELLIGENT_TEKKNO_MUSIC inspired by 1991's breakthrough in electronic music. FCAN's album RPEX (vinyl/MaxMSP edition released January 17, 2011) is a visual album that shows videos to each song created by FCAN. The visual album is packed with TV test patterns, computer programming codes, Japanese signs. All are important elements of the universe and will take you on a visual journey to the genre 1991_INTELLIGENT_TEKKNO_MUSIC. RPEX is a tribute to an overlooked year in music, namely 1991. The year marks the border between the eighties and the nineties. In 1991, the sound was refreshingly new compared to the at that time recognizable music of the eighties and 1991 stands out as unique just before the electronic music became bass-less with Eurodance and Viva in the later nineties.
